It has been so cold lately! Our little guy’s cheeks were more than rosy after walking the dog, so I made him a neck warmer that can be pulled up over his face. I love warm fabrics like minky, but it doesn’t have much give to get over a squirmy little head. So I improvised by adding stretchy fabric to the back. It was super easy and keeps him warm.

Skill level: Beginner

Partly made from sustainable bamboo fabric

Materials:
  • Cotton with some stretch (20% or more)
  • Warm fabric (minky, fleece or flannel)
  • Thread

How to Guide:

If you like the matching beanie, instructions can be found here: Baby Beanie.

Cut it out
  • Cut 8” x 20” out of the stretch fabric.
  • Cut 6” x 20” out of the warm fabric.

Tip: The final size of the neck warmer will be about 12” around (neck width) and 10” long. Add more inches if you want it to be wider or longer.
