This skirt is uber comfy and highly versatile. Easy to pull on and dress up or down. While anyone can make and wear this skirt, I specifically designed it to be high-waisted so that when I pull my top up to nurse my baby, I don’t have to expose my midsection. Hurray for function and style! Skill Level: beginner to Intermediate sewer. Made from sustainable bamboo fabric Here in Southern Alberta we are know for our Chinooks. It’s our reprieve from winter. The sun comes out, the snow melts and it feels like Spring – in the middle of February. This skirt is perfect for those beautiful blue days!
Skill Level: Beginner sewer Our baby is not quite here yet, but I cannot resist miniature fashion! These bottom and toque sets are easy to make, comfy for baby (from what I hear) and more to the point, adorable. The best part is about these is that the pattern and print possibilities are endless! I love fabrics with a beautiful drape and styles that compliment a women's curves. This skirt has a soft tulip shape, with a drop at the back and a slight lift at the front. Flattering on many shapes, even round bellies! Skill Level: Intermediate sewer. Made from sustainable bamboo fabric Photos by: Flora Photography This skirt was designed with the purpose of emulating the fluidity of water and the structure of a rose. Made with a generous body, to give lots of ripples and movement throughout the length, while still keeping its shape at the waist. This is a very full skirt, created more for photos than everyday wear. However if shortened to be at or just below the knee, it could be made a little more practical, and keep its charm.
