More #curbappeal projects! Give your house numbers an update - this one is an easy one to do and looks great.

Skill Level: Beginner
Materials
  • 1x4 wood
  • 1x2 wood
  • !/4 round trim
  • Paint or stain
  • House numbers
  • Wood glue
  • Wood filler
 
Tools
  • Staple gun
  • Electric saw
  • Sander
  • Rubber gloves
  • Paint brush
  • Cloth
 
How to Guide
 
Cut it out
  • ​Cut the 1x4 into 3 pieces of the same length - mine were about 10" long.

Cut & staple
  • ​Cut 2 pieces of the 1/2 at 10".
  • Put the 3 pieces of 1/4 together and staple the 1/2 along the back.

Angles
  • Cut the 1/4 round to fit the plaque like a frame. 
  • Using wood glue and staple gun, attach to plaque.

Filler up
  • Use the wood filler to fill in any cracks or knicks.

Paint the trim
  • ​Cover the middle and paint the trim.

  • Paint the inner plaque.
