We recently updated the furniture in our bonus room and realized we needed some storage along with a spot for our TV. We had a large empty wall and decided to fill it up and make use of the space with shelves. It was a simple project and really finished the room nicely! *Tip – I really liked Saman’s Waterbased Stain, it’s easy to use and dries quickly. It comes in an array of colours and even has a mixing guide to create even more colours. For these shelves I used 2 part Castle Stone and 1 part Colonial. Finish
*Tip – I like Tung Oil because it has lower VOC and is food safe once dry. If you have kids that touch and lick everything, this is a good option! Screw it

Time to decorate and style these shelves!
