Easy IKEA hack for Boho Tables! Great for the patio or an indoor accent table.
Skill Level: Beginner Another kijiji find! This side table was in rough shape - it looked like someone took a hammer to the top of it. BUT for $20 I thought it was worth trying to fix up. Turned out to be a great addition to our guest room.
Click 'Read More' for the Before & After! Skill Level: Beginner It took 10 months of me working from home to finally get a real desk. Got this vintage desk off Kijiji, but it was a little worse for wear. Lots of scratches up top and a poorly done mending with glue on a part of the frame. But we fixed her up and now she looks brand new!
Click 'Read More' for the Before & After! Skill Level: Intermediate I have said this before, but I will say it again, I love French design. I especially love the opulence of French Provincial furniture. So when I found this piece second hand I had to have it! All it needed was a little love and a new life. Here is the before and after: Skill Level: beginner to Intermediate Made from mostly reused materials I inherited this vintage sewing table from my Grandmother, and we have had it on display it in our home for a few years. My Grandma was a woman ahead of her time. She had a quick-wit, a feisty attitude (understatement) and an unstoppable optimism. So in honour of her, I thought I would give it an update. I think she’d be happy with how it turned out!
Skill Level: Beginner I have had this oak wardrobe for nearly 30 years; it came with the bedroom set my parents got me when I was 2. It is a great piece of solid furniture, but it needed an update. I did the makeover about a year ago, so unfortunately I do not have pictures to go with the steps. Luckily it’s very straightforward and easy to do! Skill Level: Beginner Made from mostly reused material My parents bought me this desk when I was about 2 years old, and after almost 30 years it was looking a little worn and needed an update. It is made from solid oak, so it was still in pretty good shape, but after years of use, it had a few “love marks”. While I like the look of natural wood, I wanted to try something new so decided to give it a two-tone look, with the base done in white wash and the top stained a dark chocolate.
